The National NC-109 is an 11 tube general coverage single conversion receiver covering 550 KHz to 40 MHz in 4 bands. Has BFO, electrical bandspread marked for the Ham bands, crystal filter, product detector, and separate RF gain and volume controls.




The Hallicrafters S-86 Communication Receiver offers you the finest in world wide reception with continues frequency coverage from 538Kc to 34M. The receiver employs 7 tubes plus rectifier in the latest type superheterodyne circuit and provides for the reception of voice and code signal over its entire tuning range.


Hallicrafters Model S-108 is a pre- cision built, highly sensitive, communications re- ceiver providing complete coverage in the frequency range of 538 kilocycles to 34 megacycles. Eight tubes, including one rectifier.

This is a mid-1950's Hallicrafters S-38C 5-tube communications receiver that tunes from 540 KC to 32 MC (540k HZ to 32 MHz). The radio receives standard AM broadcast, foreign and domestic shortwave broadcasts, radio amateur transmissions, ships, and other stations. It receives both voice and CW (code) broadcastts with a built-in fixed-frequency beat frequency oscillator (BFO).


The Hallicrafters S-120 is a single conversion, superheterodyne, general coverage receiver that is used for the reception of AM and CW signals. The S-120 turned out to be a very popular receiver for the Hallicrafters company and was the successor to their famous S-38 line.
