     Macintosh Classic

 

Redesigned essentially as a more modern, and less expensive, interpretation of the Macintosh Plus, the Apple Macintosh Classic features an 8 MHz 68000 processor, 1 MB of 2 MB of RAM and either a 1.44 MB disk drive or a 1.44 MB disk drive and a 40 MB hard drive in a sleek, compact all-in-one case with a 9" monochrome display.

 

      Macintosh LC III

 

The Apple Macintosh LC III features a 25 MHz 68030 processor, 4 MB of RAM, and an 80 MB hard drive in a compact, easy-to-upgrade "pizza box" case.

          Macintosh 512K

       Macintosh LC

 

The Apple Macintosh LC -- so named for its "Low Cost" compared to earlier color capable Macs -- features a 16 MHz 68020 processor, 2 MB or 4 MB of RAM, and either dual 1.44 MB disk drives or a single 1.44 MB disk drive and a 40 MB or an 80 MB hard drive in a compact, simple-to-upgrade "pizza box" case.

     Macintosh LC 520

 

The Apple Macintosh LC 520 features a 25 MHz 68030 processor, 5 MB of RAM, either an 80 MB or a 160 MB hard drive, and a 2X CD-ROM drive in a relatively compact all-in-one case with a 14" color display. The LC 520 was both the first Macintosh LC in an all-in-one case and the first to have an internal CD-ROM drive.

     Performa 630CD

 

Macintosh Performa 630 CD features a 33 MHz 68LC040 processor, 4 MB or 8 MB of RAM, and a 250 MB hard drive in a compact desktop case. The Performa 630CD added an internal 2X CD-ROM drive
